" He Gave Us" is a shadowbox. It is 12" by 12" by 2 1/2" and is made from Blue Beetle Kill Pine.
The heart in the box is scrolled using the words from John 3:16. There is a grapevine wreath added to represent the crown of thorns. The background is religious decorated paper.

Poppy makes many beautiful scroll saw plaques but I think this is one of his best.
